Catching the Coastal Pacific train
To ensure your seat on our journey, we kindly ask that you book your tickets in advance. Our trains offer reserved seating to provide you with the best possible experience, and unfortunately, we're unable to accommodate walk-on passengers once we're fully booked.
The Coastal Pacific train runs daily until May 5, 2024, pauses for a winter break, and then resumes its four-day weekly schedule, available from Thursday to Sunday service on September 19, 2024. From 1 January 2025 until 27 April 2025 this train travels daily.
Checking In
If you are already booked, then please ensure you view the relevant station page for your departure. There you will find directions and check-in information. Please note that check-in times and procedures vary from station to station.

If you are meeting someone who is on the train, then you can call 0800 ARRIVALS to check the latest arrival times.
We recommend allowing for minor delays, as our railways travel through rugged terrain with unpredictable weather and heat affecting travel times.
