Connecting communities across Aotearoa New Zealand
At Great Journeys New Zealand, we are honoured to uplift the people, places, and projects that help Aotearoa flourish.
Our community support programme provides travel vouchers that make it easier for groups to fundraise, take part in events, and celebrate their achievements.
This support is guided by the following three pillars shaped by our deep connection to the motu.
Environmental action
Helping our whenua thrive
We stand with groups who care for the land.
This includes planting days, community clean ups, restoration projects, waste reduction initiatives, and environmental education.
Our travel vouchers help bring more hands, hearts, and voices together to protect the places we all cherish.
Youth travel and education
Opening doors for the next generation
We reduce barriers for young people exploring, learning, and connecting across Aotearoa New Zealand.
This support is open to schools, sports teams, youth development programmes, and outdoor education groups.
Together, we help rangatahi discover the landscapes and stories that shape who we are.
Adventure and exploration
Celebrating the spirit of the outdoors
We champion groups that encourage communities to get outside, move, and discover something new.
This includes outdoor clubs, community events, adventure programmes, and recreational initiatives that inspire connection through shared experience.
