While you gaze out of the window, your service will offer GPS triggered commentary provides a seamless stream of stories, narratives and facts about the places outside your window.
Currently, commentary is accessed onboard the Northern Explorer by plugging headphones into your seat.
If you're travelling on board the TranzAlpine or Coastal Pacific, you'll have access to our new Infotainment commentary, accessible via an app on your own device. Find out more here.
Connect to our stories
On the Norther Explorer, the audio commentary system is mounted in the arm of your chair. To make the most of the system, we recommend packing a nice pair of comfortable headphones with a mini-jack connector.
On board the Coastal Pacific and TranzAlpine, we've recently launched our exciting new app-based Infotainment, with commentary and information available on your own devices.
